As a token of acknowledgement for Red’s services to the accounting profession and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), the Institute has awarded him the status of Fellow of the Institute. In a ceremony held at Australia House at Aldwych on 22 November 2012, ICAA president Craig Farrow FCA presented Red and nine other distinguished UK-based Aussie accountants with their certificates of fellowship.

This is a distinguished accolade for Red and for it.venture, acknowledging that we are at the pinnacle of our profession.

WhiteSky Software is an independent software vendor providing a Cloud based Rapid Application Development tool designed to be used by people with business skills who are familiar with configuring spreadsheets. It has tremendous design capability and all of the core functionality expected of an enterprise application: it is secure, cost effective, and quick to deploy. WhiteSky works with it.venture to replace ‘user developed systems’ and packages with bespoke applications that exactly match the business processes, calculations, and terminology required.

We are pleased to welcome Redmond Lee as an equity partner and co-director to it.venture. Redmond is a private equity specialist and brings a wealth of experience to our firm, having worked for Deloitte Consulting for 8 months, and prior to that, for almost 7 years at eFront and 2 at Framework. Redmond has served clients of all the above firms across many different countries including the UK, UAE, USA, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands and Finland. His client experience includes fund administrators, pension funds, government wealth vehicles, general partners and specialist debt providers.

Redmond is a qualified Chartered Accountant and led numerous projects involving general ledger configuration. He will be expanding the scope and scale of the it.venture offering, by providing deep subject matter expertise around system configuration, data migration, report specifications and implementation of business workflows. Redmond will also play a key role developing tailored applications in conjunction with our strategic partners.
